AURELLE makes considered women’s clothing for the parts of life that deserve it — the meeting, the dinner, the wedding, the ordinary Tuesday you want to feel good on. Quiet colour, clean lines, fabric that holds its shape after the tenth wear.
The name comes from aura and belle. It is the whole idea: clothes that catch light rather than demand attention.
A Melbourne studio
We work out of a studio in Melbourne, Victoria. Every piece is selected, checked and packed here, and every order is dispatched from Australia within 1–2 business days. There is no warehouse in between — which is why we can tell you honestly whether something runs small, and why a colour that sells out often does not come back.
Melbourne shapes what we make. It is a city of layers and changeable light, where the same outfit has to work at 8 am and at 8 pm. So we design for that: pieces that hold up under a coat, that read as considered without effort, that do not need a whole new wardrobe around them.
What we make
Dresses and occasion wear, workwear, tops, skirts and trousers, and outerwear — in sizes AU 6 to AU 16. Small runs, not deep stock.
Every style is published with the flat measurements of the garment in centimetres, the fabric composition, the care instructions, and the height and size of the model in each photograph. If a fabric runs small or has no stretch, the product page says so. We would rather you order one size that fits than two that do not.
How we work
- Small runs. Limited quantities rather than deep stock. Less waste, less discounting.
- Honest photography. Product images are not retouched to change the shape of a body or the drape of a garment.
- Real measurements. Flat measurements per size, not a vague “true to size”.
- Unconditional returns. 30 days, no reason required, as long as the piece comes back undamaged. Fit is hard to judge on a screen and we know it.
- Answered messages. A person replies within 1 business day, and live chat is staffed during studio hours.

Sizing and fit
Our Size Guide converts between AU, US, UK and EU and lists body measurements in centimetres. If you are between sizes or unsure, message us with your usual size and the style you are looking at — we will give you a straight answer, including “this one will not work for you”.
