Description
Drafted from a 30 centimetre rise, which is high enough to sit at the natural waist without gaping at the back. Two pleats face inwards from the centre so the volume sits in the front of the leg rather than at the side, which is the difference between wide leg trousers and wide hips.
We publish the inseam for every size and we cut a single length — 78 centimetres — on the assumption that you will hem them to your own leg and your own shoe. Most customers take between four and eight centimetres off.
Fabric and make
- 58% lyocell, 42% cotton twill, 230 gsm
- Unlined; pocket bags in cotton poplin
- Two forward pleats, extended tab waistband, concealed hook
- Made in Portugal
Fit
True to size at the waist, generous through the leg. High rise. Cut long on purpose.
Model is 178 cm and wears AU 8, unhemmed, with a 6 cm heel.
Flat measurements
Taken with the garment laid flat, in centimetres. Bust, waist and hip are half measurements — double them to compare against your own body measurement. If you are between two sizes, the fit note above tells you which way we would go.

Care
Machine wash cold, gentle. Line dry. Press with steam on the pleats to keep the front line sharp.

Bought the tan, immediately ordered black. The pleats sit flat which is rare.

Hemmed 6 cm for flats. Beautiful drape, the lyocell makes them feel much more expensive.

They do not gape at the back waist. I have given up on trousers for years because of that.
