Description
Faille is a ribbed silk with body — it takes a gather and keeps it, which is why the skirt on this dress stands slightly away from the leg rather than collapsing. The bodice is boned at four points, lightly, so it stays where you put it without reading as corsetry.
Graded to AU 16 from the same fitted block, with the bust dart and the waist suppression redrawn at every size rather than scaled. It is the piece we get the most emails about, usually the week before a race day.

Fit
Close through the bodice, full through the skirt. Take your usual size. The bodice runs firm by design.
Model is 172 cm and wears AU 14.

Care
Dry clean only. Hang immediately after wearing. Do not press the skirt flat — the gathers are set and pressing removes them.
