Description
The white shirt, made properly. Two ply cotton poplin at 120 gsm, which is opaque without being heavy. The shoulder is dropped four centimetres, the cuff is deep enough to roll twice and stay rolled, and the hem is curved and cut two inches longer at the back so it stays tucked or hangs correctly untucked.
Buttons are mother of pearl, sewn with a wrapped shank so they sit above the placket instead of pulling it flat. Small thing. It is the difference between a shirt that looks made and one that looks bought.

Fit
Oversized. Take your usual size for the intended fit, or size down for a closer shirt that still reads relaxed.

Care
Machine wash warm. Line dry or tumble low. Iron on high while slightly damp — poplin takes a press beautifully and holds it all day.
