Description
Cut entirely on the bias, which is what gives a slip its fall and also what makes it unforgiving if the grading is careless. We grade this one from a fitted block rather than scaling a single pattern up, so the bust apex and the hip curve move with the size instead of stretching away from it.
The satin is matte on the face and slightly lustrous on the reverse. Champagne is a warm neutral that behaves like a colour rather than like a nude — it does not disappear against fair skin and does not go grey against olive.

Fit
Close to the body. Bias fabric gives, so take your usual size — sizing up will read loose rather than relaxed. Straps adjust for torso length.

Care
Hand wash cold or use a delicates bag on a cold gentle cycle. Do not wring. Dry flat in shade. Bias garments stretch on the hanger when wet — dry them flat and they return to length.
