Description
Made in a run of forty pieces. The sequins are matte rather than mirrored and are hand set in overlapping rows on a silk georgette ground, which is what allows the skirt to fall in a column instead of standing away like a mesh.
The bodice is cut with a soft cowl at the front and a plain scoop at the back, with an internal grosgrain stay at the waist that takes the weight of the skirt off the shoulders. It is a heavy dress — a little over a kilogram — and it hangs like one.

Fit
True to size and cut close through the waist and hip. Allow for alteration at the hem: the gown is cut long, to be worn with a heel.
Model is 179 cm and wears AU 8 with a 9 cm heel.

Specialist dry clean only — tell your cleaner it is hand set sequin on silk. Store flat or on a broad padded hanger. Do not steam directly on the sequins.
